竹上総理「我々は、やまとを攻撃いたしません。

やまとは守るべきだと考えます。」

ベネット大統領「日本はまたテロリズムに走り、戦争を起こすつもりかね？」

竹上総理「いいえ！　日本は絶対に戦争は致しません！

Prime Minister Takegami: “We will not attack the Yamato.

We believe the Yamato should be protected.”

President Bennett: “Is Japan going to resort to terrorism and start another war?”

Prime Minister Takekami: “No!　Japan will never go to war!

 

いかなることがあろうと、戦争は絶対にするべきではないのです！」

ベネット大統領「では何故やまとを守るというのか？

日米の関係もこれで終わるのかな？」

There must never be war.”

President Bennett: “Why are you protecting the Yamato?

Will it also end relations between Japan and the US?”

 

しかし、竹上総理はアメリカとの関係も続けていく意向も示しました。

竹上総理「もし、やまとが核を保持していたならば・・・・・。

我々日本人の使命は一つ。

やまとに核を使わせない事です。

しかしベネット大統領も引き下がるわけにはいきません。

アメリカには世界を守るという義務があると彼は言います。

そして、大統領は最高責任者でもあるのです。

And do not let anyone attack the Yamato.

That is why we will protect the Yamato.”

But President Bennett is not silent.

He says the US has a duty to protect the world.

And the President is the chief executive.

 

世界の為に、テロリストをせん滅せねばと考えるアメリカ。

世界の為に、核を使わせないと考える日本。

国を挙げての正義のぶつかり合いです。

両者一歩も譲るわけにはいきません。

The US believes that terrorists should be destroyed for the good of the world.

Japan believes that Yamato should not be allowed to use nuclear weapons

for the sake of the world.

It is a clash of national justice.

Neither side will give in at all.
